Foster children have an image problem due to no fault of their own. Our mission is to change that.
There are so many wonderful foster children with wonderful stories about overcoming odds and helping their communities. Yet in media bad news is publicized more often than good news.
Founder and PR/Marekting veteran Leah Burdick supports foster care organizations by helping to spread the word about their good works. We want foster care to be part of the national consciousness--making adoption from foster care a positive choice for good, caring people as they begin planning their families. We certainly aim to raise public awareness of how the foster system must be changed, but just as celebrities have publicists to the stars, we want to be publicists to foster children (the true stars).
